The Educational Talent Search Program sought out Dr. Ellis to provide leadership training for high school age participants. Dr. Ellis’s program, Leadership and Success Series for Youth, includes not only leadership activities, but also sessions on various communication issues that teens must deal with: appropriate social media communication, being a productive team member, conflict resolution in daily and school life, and resumes for scholarships and jobs. The ability of Dr. Ellis to relate to this age group was extraordinary. His interactive sessions and attention to the needs of individual persons allowed the students to develop confidence in themselves and gain personal tools that will assist them in the next school year.
